BREAKING NEWS!!! I have been appointed by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam to a second term on the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology!!! I have enjoyed my first term, learned a lot, and I’m looking forward to serving a second term. I am the first cosmetologist with a Natural Hair/Braiding specialty to serve on the board. I am currently the only African-American on the 9 member board. I am the Natural Hair Deva!!!

With over one million locks twisted, the third generation owner of Legacy Locks & Natural Styles, talk show host, instructor, writer and lecturer the Hair Deva fuses her unique experience with a twist of historical, psychological and socio-political perspectives that enlightens her customers.  In essence, it simply comes natural to her.
